Job Title: Senior Purchase Engineer Location: Bakrol-Gatrad Road, Bakrol, Ahmedabad Industry: Manufacturing – PTFE-Lined Valves, Pipes & Fittings Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities, vendor development, and material sourcing for our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchasing of engineering materials, raw materials, and components.
• Develop vendors and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and accounts departments.
• Monitor inventory, pending orders, and supplier performance.
• Evaluate quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in purchase/procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of engineering materials, vendor management, and negotiation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.
• Experience in valve, piping, or engineering component manufacturing is preferred.
